WENKE WILL WIN

On Friday night my family was struck with the devastating news our beautiful family friend has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer.
Our beautiful friend Nat is absolute gold and an absolute blessing in disguise to us, her beautiful 4 kids, husband and everyone else she has come in contact with.
We can not express the love and support we have to Nat and hope any funds raised will easy the stress of no second income.
Nat we know you can beat this, you will and WENKE WILL WIN ❤️
Love the Colomas xx
When I got this tattoo in January it symbolised 2019 being all about me and it was to be my mantra. Its meaning is now so precise for what I’m about to say next.....
On Tuesday 20th February I found a lump in my breast whilst having a shower. On Friday 22nd February I found out I have Breast Cancer. It’s a 5cm lump that has spread to my lymph nodes. In the space of 6 days I have had a mammogram, ultrasound, FNA, Biopsy, CT Scan, Bone Scan, MRI and another ultrasound. The last four were alI done today. I am meeting with the Oncology team at Peter Mac next week to begin at least 12 months of chemotherapy.
Our family is in shock, we are stunned by this diagnosis but we WILL get through this. We have THE best support network who have rallied around us and offered all their time to us.
I don’t know what the next 12+ months will be like, but I do know they won’t be easy. I no longer work as I need to be focused on my treatment and recovery. I’m still trying to process everything and get through everyone’s messages. In time, don’t be a stranger, message or call me to catch up because I will have all the time in the world! Ask any questions you want to and I’ll answer as best I can. I’m still learning all this but I’ll try my hardest.
Aiden, Nate and Remy don’t know yet, we are trying to work out how best to tell them. Please respect this.
This is a really horrible thing to happen to us and I’m not going to lie, I’m shit scared. It may be just ‘another bump in the road,’ but fuck my road is bumpy lately.
Thank you to our amazing family and friends for the support so far. Nat, Matt, Hayley and kids ❤️
