I’m raising money for my friend, Wendy. She is a single mother and widow. She’s been the sole caregiver for her teenage daughter her entire life. She’s had a series of unfortunate events and for years has tried to make the best of it. Taking a serious pay cut when she lost a job, then taking a job at our local elementary school that pays far less. She recently had another pay decrease from a legal standpoint point (around $500 less a month). Living below her means to try and make ends meet, while trying to give her daughter what she can. She’s in need of a foot surgery to make her life a little more bearable. This will allow her to walk around without pain, and allow her to do her job completely. She can only get this surgery if she can cover her monthly expenses for 2 months to help her catch up on her last surgery (her knee) and get her ahead for this surgery. She’s unfortunately not accruing enough sick to cover the time she’ll need to be out for this surgery after having to have the last surgery just a year ago. Anything you can give helps! Wendy is more than deserving. She is the most kind and caring human. She is a hard worker and puts everything before herself. All funds will go to bills and medical bills.
