Let's get Wendy to China!
Wendy Bensen has been selected in the Australian team to compete in the Women’s World Petanque Triples Championships in Kaihua, Zhejiang Province, China in November.
Wendy is supplied with a uniform by Petanque Australia but must cover other expenses herself including passport acquisition, flights, accommodation, food, local transportation, traditional gifts exchanged between international teams.
Wendy has represented Australia twice in the Trans Tasman competition, is a former National Shooting Champion and is in regular training for this event.
Wendy is the first in to help anyone who needs it, and now we want to help her and raise $3,000 to cover her flights and accommodation.
We’re all excited for her to be in the Australian team and greatly appreciate donations of any size.
