Help Wendy's life get a little easier
Donation protected
Hi everybody, my name is Seth and I am raising money for my mother who, through no fault of her own, is having a rough time getting the help she needs to get by.
See, my mom was born with a genetic hip defect called dysplasia and has had a rough life because it affects her everyday. As she has gotten older these problems only compound and even tho she qualifies for disability, it's not quite enough to help her get the things she needs to live a happy and comfortable life.
She has spent her life giving so much to those around her and has worked at her local senior center for many years and is a very beloved member of her community.
She is very vulnerable to falling and because of this she broke her neck some years back and due to negligent doctors who let her down she was not treated and now her neck has healed wrong and cannot be fixed without completely stripping her off the little freedom she still has.
She has had over 30 major surgeries (? I've lost count) on hips, spine, feet, _____ . She has a fused spine and is one fall or accident away from a C-2 fusion.
Desperately needs surgery on both hands (carpal tunnel on one and nerve-something on the other) but she’s procrastinating because of how much further it will incapacitate her.
This medical wonder carried two healthy babies to full-term despite doctors advice.
She never asks for help and always has a smiling, cheerful disposition
So my hope is that we can help her out by giving her the piece of mind that people care enough to give her a hand to make her home more handicap accessible. Please consider donating and making my wonderful mother the life she so deserves. Thank you too all who donate from the bottom of my heart.
She will use the money for things like:
- Paying medical bills
- Grocery delivery services
- Local business delivery services
- Home nursing care
- Her condition continues to deteriorate and her needs continue to grow
- Specialized/modified vehicle, fully remodeled ADA-accessible bathroom, bedroom and kitchen, motorized wheelchair, ramps, etc.
