Wendy's Journey: Overcoming MS and Loss
Donation protected
My name is Wendy, I'm a multiple sclerosis warrior with a long history of active disease that impacts vital functions, organs (swallowing, heart beat, blood pressure, bowel function, temperarure regulation, mobility, cognitive ability and more. After a series of unfortunate events I find myself temporarily homeless and losing most belongings including my power wheel chair, bed, furniture, ES support cats and clothes. My case of MS requires cold Temps to survive due to lessions on the brainstem, 60 to 65 degrees and temperatures have been in the 90s in the upper Midwest.
I have used my own funds along with help from my elderly mom to secure a motel room with AC for a few days, but after that I'm not sure what I'll do while I wait for housing.
I am seeking funds to cover hotel stays as well as expenses for moving such as a security deposit, a bed, travel, food and some medical expenses.
I still have a lot to give the world once I am stable as I am intermittently a talented digital media and IT specialist depending on my MS disease activity.
