Hello, my name is Ashley McCole, a friend of Wendy and John's. As many of you know, Wendy and John have been fighting a variety of health battles throughout these last months.

As Wendy has been fighting her breast cancer with surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, she received the devastating news that her school district of 30 years will be placing her on a rehire list (meaning she is not guaranteed to return to her classroom or school site in the fall) and dropped her insurance coverage as of March 4.

We need to keep Wendy insured so that she can see this fight through to the finish! We are raising funds to help Wendy pay out of pocket for insurance until she is "rehired" in the fall and can resume coverage September 1.
