As you all know, Wendy has been an avid cyclist for many years. Her dedication and leadership qualities were recently recognized as she was appointed to be a Ride Leader for two Bay Area premier cycling groups:

AIRcc - A non-profit cycling collective that promotes inclusivity and aims to make cycling accessible to everyone

Rapha Women - A Rapha-sponsored group ride for women cyclists in San Francisco

What does it mean to be a Ride Leader, you may ask? Well, it comes with a lot of responsibilities: You are in charge of the planning and the safety of the entire cycling group - whether it be 5 people or 100 people. You have to consistently show up and be a primary supporter for seasoned and beginner cyclists. And get this, she did it all within a year of moving from SoCal to SF!
