Olympics or Bust! Step 1: Qualifying
Donation protected
In 2016 and 2017 I was the top 125 pound female boxer in the country. My goal is to be the top female boxer in the world and eventually an Olympian in 2020! In order to do that I need to continue to travel to multiple tournaments a year and compete with the best.
There are specific tournaments that I need to attend in order to qualify for the Olympic team. Although I have a lot of tournaments tentatively scheduled, I want to focus on one goal at a time. The first tournament I will be going to is the Western Qualifier in Reno, Nevada from March 23rd to March 31st. Winning in Reno will qualify me for the Olympic Qualifier in December.
Last year I injured my back and was unable to practice, let alone compete, for several months. For this reason, I also need to attend matches to prepare me for the competition in Reno. This past weekend I attended the Atlanta Women's Classic Tournament for that reason. Although it was only a two day tournament, it was still costly.
In the past, I have funded many of these tournaments out of pocket. This has left me thousands of dollars in debt. Although I am willing to go further to pursue my dreams, I would rather not have to face that mountain alone.
I have broken down where the money will go below. The amounts for Atlanta are exact since I have already completed that adventure. The costs for Reno are approximate. I have already purchased the hotel and flights but I am estimating other expenses. I have also included costs for my coach. Ideally I will be able to pay for some of his expenses as well. He has gone above and beyond for me and I owe him more than I can ever give.

As you can see, these are not cheap trips. However they are very important for helping me accomplish my goals.
Anything you can do to help is GREATLY appreciated. Even small amounts, like $5 will add up. I know I have a lot of friends and family out there. I'm counting on all of you to help me achieve greatness!
Thank you in advance for anything you are able to contribute.
