Wendy is currently battling breast cancer. She has gone through one surgery, and will be having another surgery coming up in the next week or so to remove the cancer.
Unfortunately, her short-term disability does not kick in for 31 days. If you know Wendy, you know she does not want to take any work off. However, she will definitely need time to recover, and she will need to miss some work to do this.
