Our amazing mother, and our fathers lovely

wife, Wendy Woodin Smith, age 53, this past

week suddenly had a major health decline and was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer that metastasized throughout her body, followed by kidney failure and brain lesions.

Tuesday 5.31.22 Wendy was admitted to Hartford hospital, and had the best care we could ever wish for, for our mom. Diagnosis after diagnosis our family decided to switch to comfort care due to the cancer being terminal. We all just wanted her to feel loved and comfortable so she could feel at peace during her final moments with us. Wendy passed 6.5.22, at 11:41pm surrounded by so much love and her favorite nurse, Dawn. Wendy was a previous cancer survivor from 2011' and was the strongest, most brave woman you would ever know. Wendy’s world consisted of being the best mother to Josh and Hayley, a loving and compassionate wife to Carl and the most reliable, helpful, and loving friend to everyone around her.

We are asking for this financial help to cover medical bills, and to provide an amazing celebration of life for a beautiful soul gone too soon, who deserves everything in this world. We thank you for your love and prayers.
