Wendy Powell's Tornado Home Damage

Dear Friends and Extended Friend Network,
As you may or may not know Wendy Powell and her family were in the direct path of the Dallas tornado last night, 10/20/19. Their entire home is damaged and will require their displacement for a few weeks while they wait on their insurance to get around to helping them in the bulk of several homes that were affected. That means they will have to pay for hotels and immediate damages out of pocket. This is completely out of their budget and they are worried about how to survive the coming weeks. They are currently trapped inside their neighborhood that is surrounded for miles with debris without power. Food is going to go bad quickly and they will need to restock soon. There is also a concern of looting. We are hoping this fund will help them find a safe place to stay for the next couple weeks, replace food, find suitable care for their pets, and pay any additional costs that their insurance may not.
