Wendy Phillips Lee's Cancer Fund

Dear friends and family,
Our friend Wendy Phillips Lee has an aggressive form of breast cancer. Four advanced tumors were found, and cancer was found in her lymph nodes. Thankfully the cancer has not spread to other parts of her system. Because finding four tumors in one breast is unusual, the medical team she is working with consulted Stanford doctors. The consensus from her medical team is Wendy needs 6 months of chemotherapy prior to surgery. After chemo, she will need a mastectomy, possibly a double mastectomy. This will be followed by a radiation cycle, and then reconstruction. Wendy started chemo a month ago. The whole process is expected to take 12-18 months.
Wendy’s doctors have advised her she will not be able to work during this time. Unfortunately she was not working when diagnosed, and starting a new job now is not an option.
Wendy is facing a long road. Many thanks to those that have already reached out. Wendy is worried about being able to pay her bills, medical expenses, and take care of her two children, Ethan and Annika. We are looking for some financial support to help her.
Please donate what you can, Wendy can really use the support.
Much love,
Stacy Mueller, Alysen Lanagan, and Sheila Hurley
