Last week, our dear friend Kat and her brother Drew experienced an unimaginable loss—their mom, Wendy Kirton, passed away.

Wendy was truly one of those rare, beautiful souls who left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was kind, warm, and full of love, always putting others before herself. Whether it was through her laughter, her compassion, or the way she made people feel seen and cared for, Wendy made the world a better place just by being in it.

Kat is currently a university student, working hard to build her future while already managing the financial pressures that come with school and everyday life. Now, in the midst of grieving her mom, she is also facing the overwhelming burden of funeral expenses—something no one should have to navigate alone, especially at her age.
