Wendy Byrd Celebration of Life

Hi everyone, my name is Garrett Byrd. Recently, my mother, Wendy Byrd lost her battle with cancer. We found out at the end of 2020 that my mom had Small Cell Lung Cancer, and by the time that we found out it was honestly too late. My mom was a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend, and wife to my dad, Jerry Byrd. Now, I know that my dad would never ask for help so here I am. I am creating this GoFundMe to help cover the Celebration of Life, cremation, and memorial cost for my mother. Any extra money contributed outside of that would go towards medical bills and helping fund a trip that my mom always wanted to go on with my dad. 
   You see, my mom always had a desire to fly somewhere and go to the beach. However, it was never in the books financially for my parents as they put every extra cent that they had towards raising me and my brother, Wyatt, and giving us the best life that they could. When my mom got sick, my parents started planning a trip to Florida so that way she could fly for the first time and get to spend some much needed time relaxing on the beach with my dad. My dad would love the opportunity to be able to still take the trip and spread my moms ashes. 
  Therefore, if anyone that knew my mom and wants to know what they could do to help out my family, please contribute to this fund. Any and all help is very much appreciated.
