Hi, my name is Sonia, I've setup this fundraiser (with permission) to help the family of my best friend Wendy.

Wendy sadly passed away on the 27th November aged just 47, after a very hard and courageous battle with cancer. She leaves behind two children Sophie & Hazel who are now being looked after by their Nan, Val.

It's heartbreaking the girls and her mum are facing their first Christmas without their beloved mum and daughter, I'm hoping this fundraiser allows the family to give Wendy the send off she truly deserves and maybe a little left over to relieve any initial stress around financial support for the children.

Wendy was so loved and known by many, please give what you can, tell your friends and share, so we can support her family through this difficult time.
