Wendy Brunton was a life long nurse and spent most of her career in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Emergency Room. She was a wife, mother and probably most importantly to her a Dog Lover. Diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer (Glioblastoma), Wendy passed away on Christmas Day. We had talked about different charities she would like to support after her death. She was very excited about the establishment of a nursing scholarship in her name at Valencia College in Orlando. Wendy saw that as a way for her to continue to contribute to the nursing profession even after her death. For those who were lucky enough to know Wendy they realize nursing was her life’s passion and true calling. Please help us raise money for a nursing scholarship in her name and continue her legacy of nursing.
