On Monday March 20, 2017 Wendy Bompas was diagnosed with Leiomyosarcoma in her leg. The decision was made to amputate her lower leg as this is an aggressive cancer. The amputation surgery is Wednesday March 22. Everyone who knows Wendy, knows that she is always positive and upbeat. She always has something uplifting to say to everyone. I know that this is going to be the toughest road she has traveled, but I also know she is one of the toughest people I have ever met and that her faith in God makes her stronger.
