Hi, I’m Wendi. I'm a 42-year-old single mom who recently got diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. It definitely was a shock but also not surprising because living with SLE Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, CHF, etc., it’s always something new coming up.

Sadly, the type of insurance I have only covers the medication (metformin) and not any device. I was able to buy one, not get one for free, but I have 5 days to come up with money to get my next refill. I don’t have family or people I can reach out to for help.
