In the heart of Uganda, where half the population is under 15, over 2 million children face life on the streets. But there's hope, and it moves to a beat!
The WemblyMo Magic
Since 2017, Wembly Mo has been transforming lives through the power of dance and music. They've taken 36 children, aged 3 to 18, off the streets and onto the stage of life.

A good way to get help is to ask for it.
In 2024, Wembly Mo welcomes a film crew and launches a call for help that will be broadcast on May 5, 2024, on the show Sept A Huit on TF1, the 1st TV channel in Europe.
This is how Jef and Jerome (WeHappers founders) met Wembly for the first time. Since then we've been collaborating with Wembly to measure the positive impact of WMF Foundation [See detailed results here], and help him with his funding campaign.
WMF measured impact
The measured Happiness Index of Children in the street of Kampala is insanely low: 260 (out of a maximum of 10,000).
The measured Happiness Index of the children once they've joined the WMF is 4,150.
The increase in Happiness Index for every children is 3,890!!!
WMF impact is huge!
Although the living conditions are still very basic in the house as you'll see in the video below... This is a life changer for the children.
Why this campaign?
Although WMF is a recognized and registered organization, it does not receive public assistance, which is not provided in Uganda at the local level. It can only rely in the long term on Wembly Mo's personal contribution. It deserves help.

This social support doesn't actually translate into financial support at all.
A Home at Risk
WMF is in great precariousness and is trying to face numerous challenges. Among them is the payment of rent for the 4-room sanctuary.
Providing a House for the children is the most important item.
That is more than walls - it's hope, safety, and community for 44 young dreamers. But WMF is in danger of losing it.
By itself it has a positive impact of 2,900 HITs for every child in WMF's care.
It is vital they can secure it.

The last two rents paid date back to July and August
July rent receipt : 1 900 000 Ugandan Shillings
August rent receipt : 2 200 000 Ugandan Shillings (months of school holidays with greater water and electricity consumption integrated into the charges).
The annual rent amounts to 23,100,000 Ugandan Shillings or $8,645 CAD which is approximately US$5,300 or €6,800 (11 months at 1.9 M + August at 2.2 M).
