On December 30, 2021, the Boulder County Fires forced more than 35,000 people in the Boulder, Colorado community to evacuate their homes. Nearly 1,000 homes were destroyed, including that of our dedicated workers at Hain Celestial, Rolly and Charlene Dacumos.
Rolly and Charlene married in their home country of the Philippines in 2009. Rolly came to the States in 2004 and Charlene shortly thereafter. They have two daughters, Charee who is 11 years old, and 3-year old Caroline. Since, 2004 the Dacumos family has enjoyed living in Superior with their children and Rolly’s Mom, Lorna. Rolly enjoys cooking and his favorite meals are beef stew, egg rolls, and noodles with chicken and Charlene loves to sing and spend time with their family. Rolly joined Hain in 2011 and Charlene joined in 2021; both are valuable members of the production team.
The Dacumos family has been grateful to stay with their immediate family since this catastrophe, but this is only a short-term solution. They truly need to rebuild from the ground up, as they lost everything in the fire other than the clothes they wore at the time of evacuation. In true Hain fashion, our colleagues have come together to support them in their efforts to get back on their feet. But so much is needed. Your donations, in addition to the support of the Hain Helping Hain fund, will provide this family the opportunity to get back into a home of their own.
