Wels Family Recovery Fund

Donation protected
On the night of 08/21, Eric and Judy Wels lost their home home in Boulder Creek due to the CZU August Lightning Complex.  At this time, the home and one of their vehicles are a total loss.  We are thankful to report that Wels Family is safe and out of harms way.

Eric and Judy have lived in their house for the last 32 years, and Judy recently retired as a teacher in San Lorenzo Valley.  Their family will need to rebuild and tend to all of the needs that will arise from this tragedy.  Any donation will directly help the Eric and Judy recover from their loss.

Also affected by this loss is Judy and Eric's son, Firefighter Paramedic Chris Wels of the Woodside Fire Protection District.  Firefighter Wels is also a Boulder Creek Fire volunteer, and has been on the frontline defending his community since the beginning of the fire.

The Woodside Firefighter's Association greatly appreciates your help and any donations that help the Wels family recover from this devastating loss.
