To the friends and family of Beth Philo Robertson and Rick Robertson:
Beth and Rick (Both Whitmer Alumni - Beth 82 and Rick 80) are blessed with three boys: Ryan, Jordan and Blake. They have been working for years and have had many medical bills for Blake, who has suffered from many medical maladies since birth.
Their middle Jordan is a handsome, beautiful, sweet, very smart, conflicted soul. He would give the shirt off of his back to help another person. He is an animal lover. He is a loving brother and devoted son. He is a fun uncle and grandson. He studies chemical engineering at the University of Toledo and has nearly a full ride scholarship because he is so intelligent.
Jordan is also suffering from the disease of addiction. He spent close to three years clean after his parents sent him to a renowned rehab facility in Florida several years ago.
On Wednesday, March 23, 2016, Jordan was headed to UT for a midterm exam. The details of what occurred between the time he borrowed his dad's truck and the time he was found are unknown. At approximately 10:30 a.m. he was found not breathing and with no heartbeat.
After an extended resuscitation, he was brought back and taken to the ER at Toledo Hospital. As of this post, it is likely he will not survive. The family will have to face a tough decision of discontinuing life support on Saturday, March 26, 2016.
Our goal is fluid as The Robertsons face the reality of their needs - medical, daily expenses, etc.
