Creed's Recovery
Donation protected
I am sharing this story on behalf of my aunt Celeste and my Uncle Clyde for their son Creed. On Dec 4th all of our lives changed our cousin Creed became very ill, with what appeared to be a stroke at the age of 15. He was rushed to the hospital, we quickly realized the severity of what was to come he was diagnosed with brain arteriovenous malformation (AVM) a tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in the brain. The cause of AVMs is not clear. Most people are born with them, but they can occasionally form later in life. He underwent brain surgery and thankfully after several hours of uncertainty he came out of surgery he has now been placed in a drug induced coma to help his brain heal properly. However, Creed is not out of the clear yet and is scheduled for another brain surgery this week. As a family, we know that there will be hardships as we support Creed in his recovery especially during the holidays.
We are asking for your help in raising money for him! Anything helps, we are looking to help them with any medical bills that acrue over this time. This woud mean the world to the family as we raise awareness to this rare diagnosis that affects less than 1% of the population.
We thank you in advance for thinking of Creed and our family and we ask that if you are unable to contribute to please keep him in your prayers.
