Robert's Memorial Fund

We have closed donations to the fund since Bobby's death. 

He is already missed by so many and all of us whose lives he touched are the better for it and we want to keep doing good in his name. If you would like tohonor his memory please donate to

How do you celebrate the birthday of a true original?

A person who means so much to so many?

How do you help one of the strongest people you know fight a new battle?

You ignore the "No Gifts" mandate and you help build a Birthday War Chest!

Robert/Bobby is the definition of originality. He is a constantly growing and changing man. He is a brother, an uncle, a lover, a friend, a counselor, a cousin, a supporter, an artist, a thinker, a man amongst men. 

He is also a fighter and a survivor.

Now, with a new fight ahead of him, we, his family of birth, his family of choice, his village and his community are bonding together to help raise money for his uncovered medical bills as he stands strong against a new foe: Cancer. 

This new battle is news to many, and is devastating to all, but it is one that he is facing with optimism and energy (we'd expect nothing less!).  

 We ask you to respect his privacy as he focuses on healing. 

To quote the man himself:

"I am working towards full recovery. I ask that any doubts or negative reactions to my choices be kept to yourself. I need to focus on a positive outcome."

Robert/Bobby knows about this fundraising campaign and any messages, photos, well wishes will be compiled for him and presented to him on his birthday, along with YOUR donations.
