Family, friends, and those friends we have yet to meet,
We are reaching out to you for help in covering funeral and tornado damage costs for the Martinez family. As many of you know, Humberto (Nano/Huey) Martinez passed away this week on Dec.26th after being diagnosed with cancer 4 1/2 weeks ago. This was the same evening that tornados ripped through Garland, Rowlett, and other parts of Dallas causing huge amounts of devastation to neighborhoods including Nano's neighborhood. Thankfully, everyone inside the home remained unharmed as they lay over and protected the man that lived his entire life protecting and caring for others. Although their home was spared from total destruction, some damage was incurred.
Please help us as we work together to help cover some of these funeral/tornado costs for Nano's beautiful and loving wife of 40 years, Millie, who met in the 8th grade....a true love story modeling the importance of family and friends.
I could go on and on about my Uncle Nano but instead I've listed just some of the posts (too many to list) from those that loved him, knew him, or even met him just once.
