Javier Melendez-Zayas tragically passed away on 7/30/2017. He was only 22 years old. 

Javi was a prolific artist, constantly expressing his creativity through many art forms. Those who love and mourn his loss have established this GoFundMe account to honor Javi's passion for the Arts.

We are currently searching for an appropriate organization that addresses drug addiction through the arts, to support this important work in the community, educating and inspiring young people.

If we can't find an existing organization, we will partner with local non-profits to establish a program in our community.
