Wellington Wind Symphony Percussion Fundraiser

On November 8, 2022, the trailer containing all of The Wellington Wind Symphony's percussion was stolen. This loss is devastating for our group. The trailer stored our timpani purchased 25+ years ago for $25,000. And we have since spent at least another $15,000 on many additional percussion instruments. We have an immediate need to borrow, buy, or rent instruments for our upcoming Christmas Concert in December, and purchase a new trailer to transport them in.

We hope insurance will ultimately cover some of the cost of new instruments, but that process will not unfold quickly enough to meet our needs for upcoming concerts.
