Hi my name is Sarudzai, I went to the same High school as Wellington, Chinhoyi High school.

Sadly we lost Wellie on Friday 23rd May 2025 in Johannesburg SA. The news of his passing has truly shocked and hurt a lot of us. The sudden death is still hard to take in and we are therefore asking for donations (any amount will help) to help us repatriate him back home to Zimbabwe so his mother can lay him to rest.

Wellington was loved by many whether he was friends with you via football or rugby or old school friend, he was a great guy who will be missed so much. It hurts to think that we will never get to joke with him like before or for those who were close to him in SA they'll never get to sit and have a drink with him.

At this time please can we keep his mother in our prayers as she will need all our strength at this time.

I will provide updates as we get any more information.
