The Hall family needs your support during this very difficult time...
Cameron & Tammy are two of the best, most generous, kind natured, loving people around & together they're superhero parents to their 20 month old son, Oliver. However, as the old adage goes... "When it rains it pours!" & ufortunately, it's been pouring on the Hall Family all week.

It started when Oliver fell ill with what was initially assummed to be some sort of cold/flu virus, but as the days progressed & Ollie's persistently high fevers (103°-104°+) refused to budge they knew it was something more. Poor Oliver progressively became more & more uncomfortable & of course Mom & Dad became more & more concerned. Normally Cameron & Tammy would run Oliver straight to his regular pediatrician's office, but of course, these things pick the most inopportune times, as the family is currently in the middle of a big insurance change. This means they're also in the process of having to switch physicians...
Having worked as an ER nurse before becoming a phenomenal homemaker, Tammy knows all of the ins & outs when it comes to looking for new docs. She searched & searched for a new pediatrician that would meet their requirements & could see Oliver ASAP.
Finally, a doctor popped up in the search & an appt. was made for Oliver right away. Cameron & Tammy were relieved & hopeful that they could finally get their little guy some help!
Fast forward through what turned out to be a terrible visit with the new pediatrician, due to her very dismissive & careless attitude, which left Cameron & Tammy disappointed & more worried than ever... they decided to use their gut feeling/intuition & took Ollie straight to the emergency room.

THANK GOODNESS THEY DID, too, because after being assessed by the highly competent physicians in the ER it was discovered that Oliver was in the beginning stages of sepsis. Sepsis is a complication caused by the body's overwhelming & life-threatening response to infection, which can lead to tissue damage, organ failure & can be deadly. It is difficult to predict, diagnose, & treat. Needless to say Oliver was admitted right away for stabilizing treatments & a battery of tests to try to track down the cause of this mystery infection.
As if having your baby in the hospital isn't already enough stress, during a quick run home to grab some necessities to help them through the hospital stay, Cameron discovered that their car had been struck by another driver in an apparent hit & run.

The financial burden of the hospital co-pays & the car insurance deductibles is obviously a big stressor for the Halls. That's why this campaign was started... in hopes of diminishing or eliminating the financial burden for these guys. With Oliver in the hospital Cameron & Tammy should just be able to focus on being parents, being strong for each other & united in the care & advocacy for their son.
Any & all contributions to this campaign will go directly to the Hall family & are VERY MUCH appreciated!!!
Happy Holidays
