Our beloved Blong Benjamin Thao, age 23, recently passed on Thursday, January 13th, 2022. Blong was the only son and first born of Hue Thao and May Nyuam Xiong Thao. He is survived by his parents and two younger sisters. He was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, grandson and friend. He was a courteous, thoughtful, and gentle young man. Most of all, he was kind.

Blong has a strong knowledge of God and Jesus Christ and lifelong faith in them. Blong dedicated his life to bettering the lives of those around him. He was accomplished and loved the environment with a natural curiosity. He was an Eagle Scout who lived a life of service and integrity.

Blong was gifted in music. He played the piano, euphonium and was percussion section leader for his high school band. After high school, Blong had been attending BYU Provo, majoring in Data Science.

As the family is dealing with the devastation and grief of this sudden passing, we’ve set an online fundraiser to help provide financial relief for funeral expenses.
