Hi guys. I am raising money to build a well in the name of my best friend’s father-   Fayez Elkady-  who passed away after years of suffering from cancer and many other health issues. I have decided to do this as he was truly a soul like no other.  I could sit here writing essays about the type of person he was but the one word that truly sums him up is 'Pure'. Fayez Elkady was one of the most purest souls that existed. He was peaceful and the energy he brought to any room that he stepped into couldn’t be described in words.  It would mean the world to his family and I, if anyone that is able to donate to build this well in his name as a Sadaaqa Jaariah, as it is the smallest thing we can do for this great man.  Sadaqatul jariyah is an ongoing charity (continuous rewards) received by us(for good actions and deeds), that will not only benefit us in this life, but will
continue to benefit us after our death. The Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "When a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).
