Well and mosque maintenance for my late father

Salam/Hello to everyone who reads this go fund me page created for my father who passed away on the 4th of July 2021 (a day after my birthday). My father fought with liver cancer known as Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). HCC is the most common type of primary liver cancer. Hepatocellular carcinoma occurs most often in people with chronic liver diseases, such as cirrhosis caused by hepatitis B or hepatitis C infection. My father also suffered from Type 2 diabetes, hypotension and 3 strokes in the past 5 years (ischemic and hemorrhagic).

During the past 3 years, my father managed to build a mosque with his own money and money donated by family. My father managed to get the mosque completed in Afghanistan, In the paghman district while residing in Sydney, Australia. 

My father was the youngest sibling in his family and had no family in Australia besides his 8 children, my mother, 6 son in-laws, 2 daughter in-laws, one niece, 21 grandchildren and his in-laws. My father also had two best friends who were just a brother figure to him, Kaka Salam khan Kherkhah and Kaka Najibullah Nusrat. They are much loved and will be loved by the ibrahim family. 

My name is Ariana, the youngest of 8. I was very much loved by my father to the point where he told me “the day you get married is the day I will die”. I loved him unconditionally too. I was his Carer, best friend and companion and he was so for me too.

My fathers death has been the most traumatic event of my life so far. I pray that god helps me heal from

this pain. I pray that every other human is never diagnosed with an illness that has no cure. It is extremely painful to watch a loved one go through so much pain. My father was 69 years old.

To always remember my father, to always fulfil his wish and to always give charity or sadaqah Jaraya, I decided to open a go fund me account for my father’s mosque maintenance and to build a Well so that the poor can have access to water on a daily basis.

This will not only benefit my father, but every person who donates will get rewarded for it from the Almighty.
