Eric Patrick Thomas We live to inspire

Hi, my name is Eric Patrick Thomas. Thank you for joining me once again and helping me with my dreams, hopes and goals.

Last time for the #wedrivetoinspire campaign I was fundraising for a brand-new wheelchair accessible Chrysler Pacifica Touring L Plus by Braun Ability and sold by Gresham Driving Aids. It is a black on black BEAUTIFUL van. Thank you everyone who made it happen. 30 months of fundraising and we did it!

This time I'm starting a new campaign #welivetoinspire. This time it is a house. I've been searching for two years now. I
do have a realtor, mortgage agent, etc. and still to this day we have found nothing.

I'm going on 24 years life after injury. When I came home in 1998 I lived with my mom and stepdad for three years. Then I transitioned into
an apartment where I lived for 11 years. Since 2012 I have been renting a house in Flint, Michigan. Lots of changes have happened in my
neighborhood and not for the better. 

Since 2012 I have seen the houses on my street go to 85% abandoned, boarded up or burned out. I've had poisoned water since 2014. The violence on my street and the surrounding neighborhoods continue to rise. I would say the change in the neighborhood Is due to
numerous things, including neglect. There was a huge sinkhole at the end of my driveway that has been repaired three times now by the
city of Flint. 

IT IS TIME FOR A CHANGE! I would love to either build or purchase a new wheelchair accessible home.
