Welcoming The Daoust Family Home

At the shooting that occured in Las Vegas last night on October 1st, a close friends dad that was attending the concert was impacted by this tragic event. The Daoust family has two kids that attend Lake Travis High School, a freshman and senior who I have grown close to in the last year. Chad Daoust suffered a gun shot wound to the rib area during the mass shooting. He underwent surgery to remove the bullet from his ribs but could not have it removed in fear of puncturing a lung. The doctors are waiting to see where the bullet moves hoping they can safely remove it without puncturing his lung. The money donated to this cause will be put to help the Daoust family cover any medical expenses that needed to be paid, as well as welcome them back to their house in Lake Travis with flowers, signs, decorations, and a gift card for a night out at their favorite restuarant. We are trying to have the money raised as quickly as possible before the return of the Daoust family, which is currently unknown.
