HomeBirth & Doula for Our Babygirl, Ave Maria
Donation protected
Hello there,
Nick and I will be having an unmedicated homebirth and as some of you may know, choosing to go the more holistic route is not covered by any type of insurance. The cost of a midwife and homebirth is about $6,000 while paying for a birth & postpartum doula is roughly $4,000 or more. I’m honestly not sure that we will get many donations, but it’s worth a shot!
Any help is help at this point, but whether or not we raise any money for this on this platform, we are still hard at work everyday to make sure it can and will be done.
I do also realize that many people do not understand why I would choose to pay so much money to go this route, but with this being my first go at this, I want to ensure my birth plan is followed properly for my mental well-being and for the safety of myself as well as my babygirl. After many interviews, I have now chosen my midwife team as well as my doula. If this is something you feel you do not agree with, please keep whatever comments to yourself as this what I am choosing to do for my body and our baby. Thank you.
With that being said, in the case that you are uninterested in buying the baby clothes, items she may never get a chance to wear or just want to support us in this regard, here’s how! Any amount you would like to donate is appreciated even if it is just a buck! It all counts, truly! :)

Anywho! Regardless of any donation, we are still very grateful to you for being part of this next step of our crazy lives!
Cheers to our sweet girl, Ave Maria!
