Help Jean's Family as they mourn the loss of their brother

UPDATE 6/21/24:
Hello everyone, we are saddened to share that Jean and his family have suffered the loss of his brother, Jean Louis Bouqet. Jean Louis came to the United States in April of last year and one month later was diagnosed with cancer. After a year of treatment, Jean Louis passed away from cancer this month-- one month earlier another of Jean's brothers also passed away due to illness. Jean's family is mourning the loss of two family members in close succession and are struggling to raise the funds for Jean Louis's funeral this Sunday. We would be so grateful for your continued support of Jean and his family during this difficult time.
(The funeral expenses are just over $10,000-- we have adjusted the fundraising goal to $19511 to account for the $9,511 that you have already previously generously fundraised for Jean's return home.)

Hello everyone,
Jean Montrevil is a longtime US resident and beloved father of four, who was unjustly deported in 2018. For years, Jean has spoken out about unfair immigration practices. He co-founded the New Sanctuary Coalition in New York City. After being targeted for speaking out against the Trump administration's egregious immigration policies, Jean was deported back to Haiti - a country he had not lived in for 30 years.
Jean's family, his congregation at Judson Memorial Church, and his community are overjoyed that Jean has been able to return home. (He is currently in the U.S. on a short-term special interest parole, pending further efforts to obtain more permanent immigration status.) After being out of the country for three years, Jean will need help getting back on his feet. We and Jean are asking for any amount to help him in that effort!
You can learn more about Jean's case here: www.bringjeanhome.org and watch his interview about his return home here: https://www.democracynow.org/2021/10/19/jean_montrevil_haiti_deportation_fight.
Thank you so much for your help and support to #KeepJeanHome!
