Hello, we are the Happy’s Crew! My name is Benjamin Mitchell, and I am the co-writer and director of the upcoming psychological horror short Welcome To Happy's: My first independent short film.

Following a horrid dinner shift with an angry and abusive customer, Madie, a young supervisor at Happy’s restaurant, is offered the opportunity to escape her dead end job once and for all. Though when her fellow employee and close friend Baz is sent home, she is left to face not just the usual horrors of her hospitality job, but the supernatural forces keeping her trapped there as well.

Welcome To Happy’s is being completely self funded by myself and the crew that strongly believe in the vision for the film that it can be effective and impactful film. Any and all funding will go a long way supporting the crew with gear, catering, production design and locations.
