Dear family, friends, colleagues, and community members of Sonoma County,
Do you stand with Ukraine? The ongoing conflict in Ukraine has forced families, mainly women and children, to flee their homes in search of safety and security. Among them are Natalia and Ivan K. Amid this war, they have lost everything they once knew, and are now struggling to rebuild their lives in the face of unimaginable hardship.
As you may know, the needs of any refugee are great: food, clothing, and shelter, as well as emotional and psychological support to help them cope with the trauma of the invasion. Natalia and 13 year old Ivan are no different.
Welcome.us matches US sponsors with Ukrainians fleeing their homelands as they begin the journey to build new lives in the United States.
We are fortunate enough to be able to provide a place for Natalia and Ivan K. to be sheltered and get acclimated to our culture.
• 100% of the received funds will be spent on supporting the
family’s start-up and living expenses during a transition to
independence in our community such as airline flights, food and energy costs, and eventually a deposit, furniture, and home goods for a place of their own.
We are reaching out to ask for your help. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a difference. Your contribution will provide them with the resources they need to begin to heal.
Please consider donating to support Natalia and Ivan K as they begin anew. You can do something tangible for this family who has been forced to flee their home. Let's make the slogan, "I Stand With Ukraine" more than just a bumper sticker.
We humbly thank you for any help you might offer.
As sponsors, we are not able to provide receipts for charitable
contributions. While you may not receive a tax benefit for
your charitable gift, your generosity will greatly benefit the
lives of Natalia and Ivan.
