Hi there!

We are the Yap’s, close friends of Josh & Emily Bowers! On October 20, 2022 they welcomed August “Auggie” Bowers to the world and we are all OVERJOYED he is here!

I asked Josh & Emily to update us and this is what they said: “August is currently in the NICU at University of Michigan Hospital trying to feel better. August was born with respiratory complications and doctors are concerned about pulmonary hypertension with a myriad of other issues. Please pray that the medical team is able to discover what is happening with August and that he starts to breathe and thrive on his own. He is slowly improving, but we do not know how long this road will be. We would love for August to be able to go home and be with London and Jack, but are trying to plan for whatever may lie ahead and however long that will be.”

While we know each one of us will be praying specifically for healing in Auggie, wisdom in his doctors, & strength for mom and dad- we wanted to start this GoFundMe so that Josh & Emily can focus SOLELY on being present for August & caring for London & Jack and not have to worry about the cost of gas for their hour+ drive to and from the hospital, medical bills, meals, and more.

Josh & Emily are incredible friends & pastors- let’s rise up around them & bless them in this season, fam! Give what you can & keep praying for sweet little August!
