Triathlon in memory of David Weinsweig
Donation protected
In memory of an extraordinary surgeon and asset to the community, his wife Tammi and the rest of David's family are raising money to keep the sport he loved so much alive in Huntington. Keeping the triathlon alive is a way for us to give back to the community and inspire others to take similar mental and physical challenges in their lives. It's a way to join and inspire others to live to one's fullest potential and have balance in their life. People can join me in the journey by contributing to a cause that will help many set and achieve admirable goals to live a strong and healthy lifestyle. As a young college student, David sought the thrill and is still an inspiration to anybody who seeks adventure and strives to push their mind and body to the limit. In collaboration with the Director of the Triathlon James Duke, this year's Race will officially be named in Memory of David. All the money we raise will be given to Healthy Huntington for future races and awards. This year's Race will be held August 2nd at 8 a.m. at Harris Riverfront Park, Huntington, WV. There are three races being held: a triathlon, triathlon relay, and a duathlon. Here is the link to sign up http://healthytristate.org/stmarys-triathlon/.
