Luke and Savannah are living in Montana while Luke is here working. They have been frequently travelling back and forth from their home in Spokane, trying to get it ready to rent. Prayers were answered just this last weekend, and they were able to find someone to rent their house! This meant they had to pack up ALL their belongings stored there, and move them to their rental home in Montana.
This morning my husband and I woke up to texts and pictures of their home here on fire. They had been struggling with washer issues, and ellectrical problems, which they thought were taken care of. They replaced the washer and dryer and went to bed.
God miraculously intervened when he woke Savannah up early this morning, only to hear crackling noises and and realize their house was on fire. Praise God they were able to grab their baby and get out okay. They then sat and watched as all their belonging went up in flame.
I cant even imagine the shock and saddness at losing all the precious items in your home, but they are just so thankful that no one was hurt!
We are still unsure if anything can be salvaged, but we do know that the house is not liveable. As you can imagine the cost of not having a home, and having lost everything could be quite extensive, I am trying to raise money for their immediate needs, and to be able to replace furniture and things in their home! Things like, clothes, and diapers are an immediate neccesity.
They did not have insurance to cover this loss. With all of the stress of travelling so much, and not feeling well from a new pregnancy, things have been a little hectic.
If you know Luke and Savannah personally, you know that they are some of the most giving and kind people you could meet. It is simply just rare that you meet such amazing people as these.
We are SO grateful that you have taken the time to read, and to share this with your friends. Please remember that NO amount is too small! We appreciate all of the love an offers for help we have had so far, and no matter what will do what it takes to make sure our friends are taken care of.
Thank you so much!
