My friends I am in a situation that I need help with. For more than 4 years now I have had to sleep in my recliner. Due to my many medical problems that I have to deal with 24/7. I am unable to sleep in a regular bed because of my medical issues. I also in addition to those have terrible “night terrors” and many times I have woken up fighting for my life while fighting the threat in the night terror. I have been to various doctors with no resolution. I have an appointment with a Neurologist to see what can be done. I have been sleeping in my old recliner in our living room. It has broken down several times and repairs would be as much as a new one.
I need a new recliner with lift assistance. The cost would be at least $700.00
The only income we have is our Social Security check for each of us and that is barely enough to supply our need’s monthly.
I am sad that I have to ask for assistance but I am 71 and to old and sick to work.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.
