"We Got Your Back" - School supplies for orphans in Ethiopia

We Got Your Back is a youth-led initiative born from a summer spent tutoring Math and English at the Mother and Child Rehabilitation Center (MCRC) for orphaned children in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. While guiding the children, one simple, repeated request stayed with us: “Can you get us backpacks?”

That's how this project was born. But it wasn’t just about the bags; it was about what they represented. Each backpack holds pencils, pens, and notebooks. But more than that, it carries dignity, a sense of belonging, and a message that says: We see you. We believe in you. We got your back.

With your support, we aim to deliver durable, thoughtfully filled backpacks to children we connected with personally, starting small but dreaming big. Together, we can help each child feel remembered, equipped, and inspired to keep going.
