'We Got Your Back' Donnie!

On Friday, May 1st, a day that started out like all others, Donnie, a much loved son, brother, loyal friend, awesome uncle, admired nephew and cousin, was driving to work in Edmonton, Alberta when he was involved in a tragic car accident. Donnie's injuries are extensive. 
He has sustained a fractured neck, a broken back, two shattered ankles, a fractured heel, partial loss of finger, complex facial fractures and fractured teeth. Almost everything will require stabilization and/or instrumentation. 
Surgery begins May the 4th and for the duration of the week.
We are devastated by this event and we feel helpless knowing that love and laughter and strength and support aren't going to be enough this time.
We are fortunate to come from a loving and close family. We laugh, celebrate and take care of each other in times of need. This time however, we must lean on others to help us through.
We have an additional geographical challenge that Donnie's immediate family all reside in Victoria, BC and in other regions all outside of Alberta.
We are graciously asking for your help to assist in covering Donnie's living, medical, and transportation expenses. 
This will allow the focus to be on the road ahead.
Donnie means the world to us. He moved here only a few short months ago to make a good life for himself.
He would give the shirt off his back on the spot for anyone and he literally has! Anyone who knows our brother knows that he is one of the funniest and giving people you will ever have the privilege of knowing. 
Please help us to give him the best possible start as he begins to heal from this tragic event and focus his energy on what is immediately important to his rehabilitation.
