My dad was diagnosed with Chronic Renal Faliure in his early thirties.  He was treated with dialysis for eighteen years, three times per week, each session lasted for approximately five hours. Hemodialysis is an invasive treatment with various side effects. He has been through blood transfusions, he has fainted in public due to low blood pressure, his arms are full of scars from needles and his bones are weak due to the prolonged treatment. 
Dad never gave up though! He got up early seven days a week to go to his store. His place of work kept him entertained, it made him feel healthy. He was always so hopeful that one day he would get a transplant.  He had more energy, happiness and dreams than most people my age. He never complained, he was always motivated and thankful to be alive. He is an inspiration to my family, friends and myself.
This past weekend, what to me seemed like a distant fantasy happened. He was blessed with a kidney!! After eighteen years of suffering silently, he gets a second chance at a normal healthy life.
I need your help,  he will be unable to return to work for a few months. Your donation will assist with hospital, medication and living expenses. He was not financially prepared for such miracle!!
