We Go Outside Too Photo Exhibition 2024

Thank you for the ongoing support since establishing we go outside too in 2020.
To celebrate our 4th year of Wegooutsidetoo we want to do a photo exhibit to celebrate our walks over our past 3years this project will be a collaboration with
Reuvie ( Photographer ) and Laurelle ( Photographer ) over the years they have documented our journey.
We plan to show in four Locations London, Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester.
The money raised will fund gallery space hire publishing of a book and limited edition prints for sale including marketing material. Exclusive previews
installation costs and photo frames merchandise giveaways.
Our passion for the great outdoors will be showcased it has always played a major part in our mental health and well-being. Marlon Patrice created We Go Outside Too, to raise awareness of the great outdoors and its health benefits. In addition, I wanted to use the landscape to encourage solidarity and unity in the Black community, especially among young people. Following the death of his teenage son in 2020 , due to knife crime, and the onset of COVID, I was compelled to set up the Community Interest Company. My connection to nature developed on a deeper level. I started to feel empowered and able to face my trauma and focus on future goals, which would also benefit the wider community.
As an organisation, we want to make the countryside accessible, while also empowering our community to experience the benefits they gain from physical, low-impact activity. I’m excited by the prospect of demystifying the countryside for many more people in the Black community.
