Hi everyone,

For those who don’t know Jason had a serious accident at home on Thursday 18th January 2024. He was airlifted to the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne. Alison immediately met him, with the boys following the next day with family.

Jason has sustained multiple upper body fractures including two skull fractures, vertebrae fracture, sternum fracture, 2 rib fractures, wrist fracture and two small brain bleeds. Jason & the Cook family have a long road ahead of them and living 6.5hours away from the hospital doesn’t help.

With Alison not being able to work so she can stay with Jason and the many offers of support they have received, they agreed a GoFund me page would be the most practical option for them both. Once Jason is able to return to Mildura he will have multiple visits back to Melbourne for follow up appointments and continued care and support.

They are very grateful for everyone’s love, support and well wishes and we will use this forum to continually update people on Jason’s progress. As you can imagine it is a very difficult time for all the family, so please respect their space in dealing with this difficult time.
