Masen was diagnosed shortly after he turned 5 with Anaplastic Astrocytoma Stage 3 Brain Cancer in 2013. It was 8 months after their father had passed from the same brain cancer. Even through the tragedies this family has faced, his mother Kainani Lopes and siblings Rylen(10), Leland(9) & Azlyn(5) have kept the most postive attitude and outlook on life.

This now 7 year old little boy has undergone more surgeries, radiation, and chemo than anyone should ever have to face in a lifetime...

After experiencing more headaches, Masen recently got news that his tumor is in multiple places in his brain outside of where they did surgery previously. He is now going to begin radiation to alleviate symptoms and continue chemo, but what he needs most is prayer, support, and love.
Our goal is to bring Masen the most happiness during the time that he does have.
Masen is a strong, loving and independant young man that loves to dance (especially to "watch me whip"). He has shown what it means to live life to the fullest and we want to give Masen every opportunity we can to help him do that!
Kainani's wish for Masen is to "live, physically as much as he can, without knowing there is a can't."
