Mike Jensen

Tragically, Mike passed away far too early in life, in his mid 40’s, after a long battle with Cancer. Mike was the most charismatic, adventurous, and fun loving person. He could make friends with anyone, and there was absolutely nobody that he could not make laugh. He was more than a great friend to many, he was family, and became part of who you are. He was a tremendous Firefighter with the Forest Service for over 20 years, leaving a lasting legacy of hard work, dedication, and pure toughness. Starting his career on the Naches Ranger District, in his hometown of Naches, he moved on to the Entiat Hot Shots for a few years, then off to multiple different forests in Washington and Oregon. Within the last few months, he finally made his way back home to the Naches Ranger District to raise his family. Sadly, this will not happen. Mike leaves behind three wonderful children. They were his everything, he loved them more than anything in the world. He was so proud of them and did more for them as a single father than most parents could even imagine. He was a great and extremely fun dad. As one of his best friends said, he was the true spirit of youth. Funds raised will go directly to his mom, sister, and children to support them through this time and into the future.
