We support the prevention of cruelty for all animals and proudly provide a tranquil sanctuary for farm animals, rescue cats and dogs, and native wildlife. At Wedrose Acres, visitors can visit and interact with our pigs, alpacas, llamas, horses, donkeys, goats, turkeys, geese, sheep, dogs, cats, and cows, while appreciating the beauty of the expansive Illinois countryside, delicate wild flowers, striking waterfowl, curious raccoons, and other wildlife.

Wedrose strives to educate the public on the care and protection of animals in an effort to reduce the prevalence of animal cruelty in our world. Our mission would not be possible without your help.
Today, we are asking for special donations to update the barn because the residents’ home is currently an extremely dangerous fire hazard. The barn is sturdy and strong but contains electrical wiring that's very old, putting the barn at risk of burning down. Updating this is currently our top priority to reduce the risk to the residents’ health and safety. We rely on electricity for lights when we visit at night, heaters for the residents to stay warm through winters, and fans to stay cool during hot summers.
We are asking for your help to give our animals a safe forever-home and so that we may continue the educational process to better our society. Once our fundraising goal is reached, we will be moving forward immediately with the necessary repairs to the barn. In the future, we are looking forward to raising money for a barn expansion project to allow us to take in even more animals so they may enjoy this peaceful life too.
Thank you in advance for your contribution to a cause that means so much to all of us.
